Xiaomi 13 Pro leak shows the device will feature curved display

A recent render leak of the Xiaomi 13 pro which is expect to launch next mouth (December) has showed the device will feature a curved display which appears to be slightly smaller than the previous version. This is quite different from the vanilla model – the Xiaomi 13 – which a render leak showed it will feature a flat display and flat sides.

A couple of weeks ago, alleged live photo of the rumored Xiaomi 13 Pro was released. Although it’s expected to pack the same 1′ IMX989 sensor as its predecessor the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, the design of the device in the “live photo” was restrained. It is nothing like the 12S Ultra design. Now, through a collaboration between OnLeaks and Zoutons, the two companies have created renders of the device showing off its various features.

The device’s camera island doesn’t look very exciting from different angles. However, it’s what’s inside the box that sets it apart from other devices. Besides a huge 50MP sensor, the device also reportedly has a wide-angle and a telephoto lens (both rumored to be 50MP).

The rumored 13 Pro measures 163.0 x 74.6 x 8.8mm, which is roughly the same size as its predecessor, the 12 Pro. The new model is slightly thicker and slimmer than the 12S Ultra.

Based on the data collected used for the creation of the renders, the new Pro will have a smaller display size of 6.65 inches, which is less than the 6.73 inches of its predecessor. It will also have a dedicated punch hole for the front camera and an under-screen fingerprint reader.

According to recent rumors, the new Pro will be launched on December 30. It will be one of the first devices to use the new generation of the chipset, which is known as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and we expect it to come with AMOLED display.

In India, the new Pro is expected to cost around ₹66,800. This translates to $815/815, considering that the country has taxes for imported devices. The 12 Pro, on the other hand, was launched at a slightly lower price of ₹63,000 for the 8GB/256GB version.
